Why Audiences Love When January Feels Like Summer

The reviews are in and audiences agree that after the players take their final bow you'll want to spend more time with the them in "When January Feels Like Summer", now playing at the Ensemble Studio Theater.  This New York premiere by Cori Thomas under the sophisticated direction of Daniella Topol is an engaging romantic comedy about five diverse characters who discover how to transcend their obstacles during a strangely warm winter in Central Harlem.

StageBuddy caught up with playwright Thomas and actors Dion Graham, J. Mallory McCree and Debargo Sanyal to talk about rehearsal, the inspiration behind the play, and why audiences can't get enough.
