You Can't Take It With You is currently holding a dance contest with prizes such as tickets to the show, Annaleigh Ashford’s real autographed pointe shoes and a free dance lesson with our partner, the Broadway Dance Center. In the play, Annaleigh Ashford (Kinky Boots, Masters of Sex) portrays Essie Carmichael, a young woman who has been studying ballet for many years but doesn’t exactly impress anyone with her pirouettes.

Inspired by her character, the show is holding the “So You Think You Can’t Dance” contest letting fans submit their own dance videos in a judgment-free celebration of dancing how you want to dance. Fans have until January 31, 2015 to submit their videos to Woobox (https://bit.ly/YouCantDance) for chances at prizes. People are also able to submit YouTube links of their videos via Twitter or Instagram to @CantTakeItBway using the hashtag #YouCantDance, or via email to canttakeitwithyoubroadway@gmail.com
