(New York, NY – June 11, 2018) Join Broadway General Manager Peter Bogyo in conversation with Tony Award-winning Producer Margot Astrachan as they discuss the nitty-gritty of the business side of show business. Bogyo will offer fascinating and entertaining glimpses into the inner workings of the normally closed world of theatrical general management. You can also expect some personal anecdotes and bits of theatrical lore. This evening will offer invaluable insight not only to fledgling general managers but to producers, writers, actors… anyone who is interested in the hows and whys of what happens in theatre before the curtain goes up.

All proceeds from this night of conversation will go to support the charitable programs of the Episcopal Actors’ Guild (EAG) (actorsguild.org). EAG, established in 1923, is a charitable organization offering emergency financial assistance and career support to NYC’s professional performing artists “of all faiths, and none.” Tickets are $15 and will be available at the door starting 20 minutes before the show. Peter is a member of The Broadway League and ATPAM, a Tony Award voter, and a graduate of Yale College and the Commercial Theater Institute, both programs. He has lectured on General Managing and budgeting for The Broadway League, the Commercial Theater Institute, Theater Resources Unlimited and at Yale College.
