“We are honored to partner with Crossroads to celebrate the diversity of our community during this holiday season,” said Sarah Chaplin, President & CEO of State Theatre New Jersey.
A joyous culture gathering of song and dance with musical direction by Jeanel LeBlanc, graduate of Rutgers University’s Mason Gross School of the Arts. “This time of year is my favorite and we are pleased to share this joyous time of year with the community,” states LeBlanc, veteran performer of Off-Broadway. The show will be sprinkled with a healthy dose of audience participation and special guests—including New Brunswick Mayor Jim Cahill—adding a special touch of holiday cheer.
In addition to Christmas, the 90-minute concert will celebrate such cultures and religions as Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Diwali, and Ramadan. “Our goal is to provide families a meaningful multi-cultural celebration for people of all ages during this special time of year,” declares Crossroads’ producing artistic director Marshall Jones, III.
