Happening and Downtown Music Productions present two innovative compositions from the 1920s: Darius Milhaud’s 1923 La creation du monde; and the 1927 Mahagonny Songspiel by Kurt Weill and Bertolt Brecht, with English translation by Michael Feingold. Guest singers are Karla Simmons, Darcy Dunn, Charles Calotta, Jorrell Williams, and Charles Carter. Performance is a benefit for the Actor’s Fund.
