Dancer/producer Antonio Fini, native of Calabria and recent guest artist with the Martha Graham Dance Company, announces the closing event of his International Dance Festival, which takes place in Italy, Bulgaria, and New York. The summer of classes and performances will come to a grand finale with the August 30th celebration at the Ailey Citigroup Theater, featuring performances by guest companies from Italy joining NY-based groups with an Italian connection. Companies include Emox Balletto of Florence, Perla Dance Company of Marche, Fini Dance NY, and Michael Mao Dance. The evening will also include presentation of awards to choreographer Gianni Santucci and dancers Luciana Paris (soloist with ABT) and Virginia Lensi (new corps member of ABT).
