Privilege allows some to see the world as their playground while others get played. The lens of entitlement paints a rosy image over the suffering of others. Developed by the Name of Bird ensemble using their distinct brand of psycho-physical theatre and the Michael Chekhov Technique, Shakespeare’s brutal drama becomes the story of one power-couple’s quest for ecstasy and romance despite the toxic consequences. In a post-truth world, where fantasy and reality combine, what will reign?

Name of Bird is a theatre company and acting studio owned by certified teachers of the Michael Chekhov Technique. The ensemble is actor-centric and unified by a vision of an equal and joyful theatre.
