No Ransom To Be Paid is an evening of Erik Ransom’s music (GRINDR The Opera, More Than All the World, Happy Yummy Chicken) will be performed by special guests including Remy Germinario (Boys Who Tricked Me) and Kate Hoover (The Imbibe). The evening follows a musical journey of Ransom’s life from a small Pennsylvania town where he was misunderstood and ignored to Manhattan where he was welcomed and found acclaim. No Ransom To Be Paid will feature composer & Broadway/Daytime TV actress Ilene Kristen (Ryan’s Hope, One Life To Live, Loving, Another World). The evening will also celebrate the actress’s birthday.

August 7th & 14th @ 7PM
GRINDR The Opera in concert! An hour-long concert version of Erik Ransom’s naughty, funny magnum opus, Set in 2009, at the dawn of the age of the Hookup App, GRINDR is an unauthorized parody, which tells the story of four gay men, seeking different types of connection, who intersect with hilarious and calamitous results. The sung-through musical parody places the notorious gay hook-up app into the exaggerated world of opera. With musical styles ranging from contemporary pop to baroque, GRINDR The Opera is a daring, humorous look at the changing landscape of gay relationships and highlights the greatest catalyst for the shift: GRINDR. The show features Courter Simmons (Jersey Boys), Devin Holloway (More Than All the World), Brandon Haagenson, (Afterglow) and DJ Bucciarelli (54: The Musical). Additional performers to be announced.
