Miro Magloire’s New Chamber Ballet opens its 2017-18 season with the world premiere of ballet to J.S. Bach’s prelude and fugure in F sharp minor. Known for his sophisticated and daring musicality, Munich born Magloire began his career as a composer, and on this program he also presents a ballet to one of his own compositions, along with repertory works to Mozart, Luciano Berio, and contemporary composer Beat Furrer. All music performed live by pianist Melody Fader and violinist Doori Na. Dancers are Sarah Atkins, Elizabeth Brown, Kristine Butler, Traci Finch, and Amber Neff.
