The Valentina Kozlova International Ballet Competition returns live to Symphony Space to celebrate ten years of excellence. Approximately 100 dancers from 18 countries around the world will dance before an illustrious panel of judges led by Charles Jude, former etoile of the Paris Opera Ballet. The young artists compete for medals, scholarships to international schools, and company contracts. June 21 is Classical Round, starting at 1 PM; June 22 is Contemporary dance Round, starting at 3 PM; June 23 are finals, starting at 4 PM). Closing day, June 24, begins with a Gala performance at 7 pm, followed by announcements of the medalists and prize winners. The Gala will include performances by exceptional 2022 entrants, past medalists, special guests, and a performance by Valentina Kozlova.
