At sixteen life is a puzzle – the more so when you are arrested.

Newly minted Dr. Neil Kalanathi joins the staff of a therapeutic institution specializing in troubled adolescents and led by experienced psychotherapist Dr. Rachel Stevens. As he hears more of their stories – and crimes – he begins to realize his years of training hasn’t prepared him for helping “these” kind of kids, or answering the question: Is sixteen old enough to be tried as an adult?
