The Paper Moon Puppet Theater was established in 1989, by Artistic Director James Racioppi, a master in of the art of creating and performing with marionettes for over 40 years. Racioppi’s work has been featured on The Captain Kangaroo Show, Kumquats, with Wayland Flowers and Madame and in numerous off-Broadway productions. On January 27, 2019, at 2 pm the Brook Arts Center is proud to announce, The Paper Moon Puppeteer will bring to the Brook stage the original tale of The Sleeping Beauty, a beautiful princess who falls under a witch’s spell and sleeps for 100 years The lovable fairies, a court jester and a little dog add to the story’s timeless charm. Guests will enjoy an interactive pre-show with the puppets before the main performance and are invited after the show to ask questions about the performance.
