THREE FOR THE KING is a Sunday, January 19, 2025 reading of three short works written by playwright Renee Flemings to honor the memory of Rev Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The 3pm event at the UP Theatre in Washington Heights will feature Flemings, CK Allen, Kailah S. King, Anthony Franqui* and John L. Payne*. (*Member of Actors’ Equity Association) Directed by Laura E. Johnston, the presentation will be followed by a post show talk back. Admission is free, suitable for ages 12 and up. No RSVP required. Part of the UP Theatre Company’s “Dead of Winter Reading Series.” The venue is located on the Ft.
