“THREE FOR THE KING” is a Saturday, March 15, 2025 reading of three short works written by accclaimed playwright Renee Flemings to honor the memory of Rev Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The 3pm event which takes place at the Jersey City Theater Center (165 Newark Avenue – Barrow Street entrance) in Jersey City, NJ will feature Flemings, CK Allen, Kailah S. King, Anthony Franqui* and John L. Payne*. (*Member of Actors’ Equity Association). Directed by Laura E. Johnston, the presentation is suitable for ages 12 and up and will be followed by a post show talk back with the playwright and JCTC’s Associate Artistic Director, Ashley Nicole Baptiste @ 4:30pm.
