Aron Kallay presents two new commissions written in memory of friends and family: Marek Zebrowski’s ‘Capriccio notturno,’ in memory of Aron’s grandmother, Cecilia Viola Kallay, and Daniel Allas’ ‘Analysis of a Dream,’ in memory of Piano Spheres’ very own Sarah Gibson. For the rest of the program, Aron is joined by friends Shalini Vijayan (violin), Maggie Parkins (cello), and Brian Walsh (clarinets) for a program exploring birds, warped time, the infinite, the play of light and dark on canvas, and wickedness without consequence.
