Detailed Information:

The Orchestra of The Bronx, led by conductor/founder Michael Spierman, will return to Lehman College with its annual holiday production of Handel’s Messiah, joined by soloists and chorus from the Bronx Opera, directed by Ben Spierman. The unique production includes 20+ guest speakers – all noted members of The Bronx community, including political figures, university presidents, artists, honor students, and much more. They will introduce each musical section, speaking Handel’s text which was compiled by Charles Jennens from the King James Bible and the Book of Common Prayer.
