Amanda Selwyn Dance Theatre is seeking athletic, modern male-identifying dancers with strong technique, creativity, and performance experience to join the company for the 2026-2027 season, which will include several small performances (through June), and a Full Premiere at New York Live Arts from March 11-13, 2027. Dancers should have excellent partnering skills and be eager to contribute creatively throughout the choreographic process.

The company rehearses 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays (September-December), and Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (January-March). Dancers must be available for all rehearsals, as well as the full week of our March performance season.

Prospective auditionees are encouraged to attend one of three ASDT Company Classes to experience the company’s movement vocabulary and familiarize themselves with its artistic approach. Donation-based ($10-25). The company class will be a fusion of Contemporary, Modern, and Ballet techniques reflecting Selwyn’s collaborative creative process and include repertory phrasework.
