Oscar Lopez is a Brooklyn-based theatre director and freelance writer. Originally from Mexico, Oscar moved with his family to Australia in 2000. Last year, Oscar relocated to New York to undergo an internship with Tectonic Theater Project. This year Oscar was the Assistant Director for the Lower East Side Festival of the Arts at Theatre For the New City. ​Oscar’s writings have been featured in Los Hijos de la Malinche, LuxuriousPROTOTYPE, I Ate The Foodie, New York Magazine (nymag.com) and Posture Magazine.
