Join us as Tommy shares his stories about growing up in Yorkville in the 1960s, reliving his adventures and misadventures on New York’s Upper East Side. Tommy’s passion is preserving the history of the Yorkville neighborhood and street life on NYC’s Upper East Side through storytelling, writing, and photography. His work has appeared in The New York Times, The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, and other A-list publications. Read and enjoy his memoir, I HATE THE DALLAS COWBOYS: Tales of a Scrappy New York Boyhood, published in 2014. The wheelchair accessible Parish Center is located between 1st and York Aves and can be reached by taking the #4, # 5, # 6 or the “Q” subway to 86th Street or the M86 crosstown bus in Manhattan.
