Detailed Information:

What does it mean to turn a story from one work of art into another? This evening of artistic transformations explores how books, plays, poems and movies get turned into musicals like Wicked, South Pacific and A Little Night Music. Hosted by Sean Hartley and featuring Tony winner Donna McKechnie (A Chorus Line), Clifton Duncan (The Play That Goes Wrong), Gabrielle Stravelli, Charlotte Maltby, Robert Petkoff (Ragtime), Eddie Cooper and Natalie Cortez. Directed by Tony nominee Marcia Milgrom Dodge; music directed by Greg Jarrett. This concert is part of Kaufman Music Center’s season-long focus on “Transformation.”
