“Hedda” by Carol Brown / directed by Max Hunter

The Bridge Production Group is thrilled to debut this world premiere adaptation of Ibsen’s “Hedda Gabler” – filtered through the darkly comic and absurd lens of playwright and actress Carol Brown. Workshopped this summer at Northern Stage in Vermont, “Hedda” details the exploits of a bored Norweigean housewife, propelled to madness. This world premiere loose adaptation of Ibsen’s classic will feature Carol Brown (“The Good Wife”), Tim Thomas (Original “Into the Woods” on Broadway), Max Samuels (“Angry Young Man”), Madeleine Rogers (Juilliard, Shakespeare Theatre of DC), and Michael Labbadia (“Produced by Actors”). “Hedda” runs for sixteen performances in rotating repertory with Adam Rapp’s “Red Light Winter.”
