“I Believed It Too,” directed and choreographed by Kashia Kancey, is about a performer trying to find her way out of a destructive false reality. She takes us on an unraveling journey as she reveals the many ways she has given her life to a world that fails to reciprocate. This work is a boisterous, sweaty, and glamorous concert about the blurred lines of passion, labor, and love.
