Lindsey Hanson will present her Dance Collective in the NY premiere of Gethsemane, a site-specific dance work designed for Redeemer Presbyterian Church, NYC. THREE PERFORMANCES: SEPT. 5 AT 2 PM; 4 PM; & 7 PM. The choreography unfolds throughout the sanctuary, weaving in and among the pews and balcony while the audience is seated on the stage. Featuring an original musical score by Rev. Jonathan Gabhart, the work will be performed by an ensemble 22 NY-based dancers whose credits include performing with Mark Morris Dance Group, Graham2, Twyla Tharp Dance, and more. Admission is free, but space is limited and reservations are required.
