Lydia Johnson Dance will present a live outdoor performance of the closing section of Johnson’s ballet “Clearing.” The Company is partnering with Ana De Archuleta, Director of Maplewood Arts and Culture for this unique presentation. The last section of Johnson’s ballet was created for women, and juxtaposes increasingly emotional gestures with poses traditionally deemed feminine and glamorous. Performance is free; masks and social distancing are required. (rain date is Sept. 19 at 6 PM)
