Mare Nostrum Elements, in collaboration with LaGuardia Performing Arts Center, will present their 7th annual Emerging Choreographer Series, celebrating new work by emerging choreographers. Chosen from 90 applicants, the 2020 dancemakers are Emory Campbell, Kelsey Burns, Isaac Iskra, Dolly Sfeir, Samara Seligsohn, Peter Cheng, Ashley Yehoda & Lillian Joergensen, Edgard Toro, and Rebecca Van Dover. Each receives free rehearsal space, a stipend, mentoring about the business of dance, and two public performances.
