In celebration of the Clive Barnes Awards, Gemma Bond (2017 Clive Barnes Honored Artist) will host a Master Class with a special guest Jake Roxander, (American Ballet Theatre Principal Dancer and 2023 Clive Barnes Honored Artist.) This two-hour session will center on where inspiration comes from and how to translate it into original choreography. Through a series of task-based exercises, participants can develop their own variations, encouraging individual style and artistic voice. The evening begins with a ballet technique warm-up, followed by guided creative work. Dancers can then gather for a Q&A on professional dance, choreography, and how the award has influenced Gemma’s and Jake’s career.
