Detailed Information:

Love and science – can a woman have both? Lorraine Liscio’s provocative new play, Moving Bodies, directed by Myriam Cyr, centers around 18th century scientist Emilie, the Marquise du Chatelet, also remembered as the lover of Voltaire, and how she fought for love and science and why, as a woman, she was never allowed to have both. Stars Lee Mikeska Gardner as Emilie du Chatelet and Jonathan Tindle as Voltaire, with Jerome Preston Bates, Sarah Oakes Muirhead, and actor/pianist David Beck. On Theater for the New City’s Dream Up Festival.
