En Garde Arts is thrilled to announce the newest in our Uncommon Voices series, Threshold, (Written & performed by Amy Brenneman, directed by Sabrina Peck). Uncommon Voices is an intergenerational space for art, activism, conversation and community in which performances are held monthly at The Commons Cafe in Brooklyn, New York. Threshold will be the most recent in En Garde’s ongoing developmental series, an autobiographical theater piece that tells the story of Amy Brenneman’s learned allyship to her daughter, Charlotte, who has a rare chromosomal abnormality, and asks us to look closely at who gets marginalized in our competitive society.
