The Lake Tahoe Dance Festival, Christin Hanna, founder/artistic director, announces its 7th season with performances at the Gatekeepers Museum in Lake Tahoe, California and the West End Beach in Truckee, California. A highlight of the program will be a pas de deux from Agnes De Mille’s last ballet, The Other, created in 1992 for American Ballet Theater. The work will be danced by Abi Stafford, principal dancer with New York City Ballet, and Stephen Hanna, former principal with NYCB. Constantine Baecher, former member of the Royal Danish Ballet and co-founder of the Lake Tahoe Dance Festival, will present dancer Traci Finch in a solo created for her, “Darknesse Visible,” to music by Thomas Ades. Jacopo Godani, director of the Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company, will present two company members in his “Al Di La,” and there will also be works by Roya Carreras and Traci Finch.
