Take the Long Island Expressway (I-495) to exit 73 (County road 58/Old Country Road) toward Greenport/Orient, merge onto CR-58. Pass through one traffic circle. CR-58 becomes NY25 at the intersection of CR-105. Travel on Route 25 approximately 12 miles to Cutchogue. We are 1/2 mile east of the traffic light in Cutchogue. Our tasting room is located across the street from the Suffolk County National Bank.
Peconic Bay Winery was founded and the vineyards planted in 1979 by the late Ray Blum and originally managed by the late viticulturalist and winemaker Charles Flatt. Originally the farm meant to sell all of its grapes, but by 1989 the fruit was all going towards producing wines here on the estate.
