Spoke the Hub presents “My Body, My Country,” a photographic exhibition by dancer/choreographer/scholar ANABELLA LENZU, March 1 through 31.
Lenzu, a native of Argentina, explores issues of identity as experienced by a dancer and choreographer who is also a woman, mother, and immigrant in the U.S. “I show the body of a woman in her forties who has had two kids, and who is noticing the changes of time. For me, it’s about embracing who I am in the moment,” notes Anabella. Exhibit hours are Monday 3-4:30 PM and 5:30-7 PM; Wednesdays 4-7 PM, and Fridays by Appointment. The Opening Reception is Sunday March 3rd from 2 to 4 pm.
