Standard ToyKraft is a puppetry and performing arts theater and workshop that offers low-cost performance and rehearsal space residencies, as well as private studio spaces for the visual arts. The theater is called Standard ToyKraft after a toy manufacturing company that was in operation near our space in the 1950s.
Standard ToyKraft was created by a small group of happy mutants and working artists who’ve been around the block a few times and got really bored of that block. We are designers, performers, painters, and builders with a shared desire for an artistic home on our own terms. With our new fantastic space, we gleefully open our doors to our community at large, to share in our hard work and good luck.
