Emerging Artists Theatre presents “Save The Girl,” written by Daniel Guzman and Ms. Li Mann. The staged reading is part of the 2022 Fall New Work Series. Performance takes place at TADA Theatre in Manhattan on October 3, at 7pm,15 West 28th Street (between Broadway and 5th Avenue), 2nd Floor (elevator accessible), New York, NY 10001. Subways: N/R/1/2 to 28th Street, B/D/F/W to 34th Street.

Then story follows ANNIE ANGEL, a rock diva, who returns to her hometown of Oldtown USA for a concert and disappears during the encore. Her friends think she’s been abducted so they form a rescue party to “Save the Girl,” which creates further complications with the local rapping biker gang and their charismatic leader. Authentic 1980’s sounds mix with musical theater elements and timely references to provide an action-packed theater romp. This is the World Premiere Staged Reading of “Save The Girl.”

The cast features Bligh Voth, Zach Herman, Allie Re, Sedona Valdez, Timothy Ware-Hill, Johnny Hawkins, Andrew Arrow, JC Montgomery, Maggie Darago, Marcus Montgomery, and Eugene Barry-Hill.
