The Indo-American Arts Council (IAAC) announces the annual and eagerly awaited Erasing Borders Dance Festival, two live performances Sept. 21 & 22 at the Ailey Citigroup Theater, and one virtual Monday Sept. 23. The three completely different evenings feature both renowned and emerging artists in programs rich with different styles of Indian dance and music. Saturday & Sunday 6 pm performances are live at the Ailey Citigroup Theater; Monday 7 pm performance features artists from various locations in India, and can be viewed on Facebook and YouTube.com Both a feast and an education in the art of East Indian dance. In addition to the performances there will be two workshops at the Ailey Studios, Sept. 21 & 22, in Bollywood Kathak and Bharatanatyam styles.
