This summer, cutting-edge production house Diamond Mesh Incorporated shatters the boundaries of traditional theater with the world premiere of Club 27: A One-Woman Confessional Cabaret. Running as a late-night anchor experience, Club 27 invites audiences to step out of the New York humidity and into a high-octane, psycho-spiritual underground.

The Synopsis: Famous and Alive?
Join your nameless (and fabulous) host in her liminal rock & roll nightmare as she deftly welcomes you to the infamous Club 27. Over the course of her set—interrupted by a series of sharp, enigmatic arguments with her brooding pianist—the host desperately grapples with the toxic currency of fame, death, legacy, and what it truly means to be an artist

When sex, drugs, and rock & roll convene, how do you make it out famous and alive?

Written by the razor-sharp Maeve Z. O’Connor, the script is directly adapted from a series of raw, intimate interviews with legendary nightlife personality Faith Pasch. The production features blistering, state-of-the-art new arrangements by Gabriel Greenwood, breathing ghostly modern life into the iconic discographies of Janis Joplin, Amy Winehouse, Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, and the rest of the dearly departed members of history’s ultimate tragic collective.

Jaw-Dropping Vocals: Faith Pasch Takes the Mic
Starring as “The Host,” Faith Pasch returns to the New York stage following a string of explosive international reviews. Critically lauded for her chameleonic ability to transform from innocence to absolute, raw power, Pasch brings her signature powerhouse vocals to a role she was born to play.
