Former American Idol contestant Caleb Hawley sat down with Julia Melim at StageBuddy.com to tell us how he made it as a musician and how he sees his career today.
Hawley, a Berklee School of Music grad, says that before he was on American Idol, he worked at Starbucks all over the country so he could afford touring as a musician. He enjoyed being on American Idol and getting all the media attention, including his appearance on TMZ. However, he also feels that reality shows are not always the best solution. "It depends what you want to be known for as an artist," Hawley tells us.
Caleb's new album comes out in the fall. Check out his single "Little Miss Sunshine" and the full interview below.
