Dancer/actress Anabella Lenzu presents the premiere of The night that you stopped acting/La noche que dejaste de actuar. The one-woman, tour-de-force reflects Lenzu’s experience as a Latina artist living in New York, with a deep examination of her motivations as a woman, mother, and immigrant. Lenzu’s live performances and dance films have been seen nationally and internationally, from her native Argentina to Norway to Italy. Currently, Lenzu teaches at NYU Gallatin, School of Visual Arts, and Peridance Center. She is a member of the Selection Committee for the Bessies Awards, and is author of the book Unveiling Motion and Emotion.
