Ailey II, the junior company of the world-renowned Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, has just wrapped up an international tour and is now back home for a two-week New York season.  The young dancers will be performing two programs, a mixed bill of returning favorites and a program of three brand new works by emerging choreographers Jennifer Archibald, Adam Barruch, and Katarzyna Skarpetowska.

We sat down with Artistic Director Troy Powell and company members Gentry Isaiah George and Danica Paulos to discuss the tour, what it's like to collaborate with emerging choreographers, and favorite pieces in the Ailey rep.
