The Coalition of Broadway Unions and Guilds feted its 2014 honorees with a star studded and lively event at Anita’s Way, next to the Sondheim Theater, on Tuesday, September 29. Broadway Salutes recognizes the contribution of members from all areas of the industry’s craft, service and production organizations for their 25, 35 and 50 years of service to the creation of Broadway Theater. This year’s pinning was hosted by the ever entertaining, Harvey Fierstein and featured performances by Lindsay Mendez, Adam Heller, Jarrod Spector, and Andy Karl with musicians, Michael Blanco (bass), Clint deGannon (drums) and Charlie Alterman (keyboard & Music Director).
