Our Favorite Looks from the 2017 Tonys Red Carpet

In a medium where classy and outrageous costumes reign side by side, it’s always exciting to see our favorite theater stars all dressed up offstage. Here are some of our favorite looks from last night’s red carpet:

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Denée Benton looked like the world’s most beautiful fairy princess in this beautiful dress from Oscar de la Renta. She was nominated for Best Lead Actress in a Musical for her Broadway debut in Natasha, Pierre &the Great Comet of 1812.

It’s always nice to see men getting creative with their awards show looks! Gavin Creel, winner of last night’s Best Featured Actor in a Musical, looked chic and original in this lovely blue suit from Malan Breton.

Cynthia Erivo was, as usual, flawless in this plunging neckline, plunging train look by Galina. She sang “New York, New York” with Leslie Odom Jr. during Sunday’s show, where her performance was equally flawless.

John Mulaney and Nick Kroll reminded us all how to pull off a white dinner jacket – and that the most important accessory of all is your best friend. Oh, Hello!, the pair’s Broadway debut, is coming soon to Netflix!

Anna Kendrick looked sophisticated and sexy in this dress by Miu Miu! She presented last night in support of her friend Ben Platt, star of Dear Evan Hansen.

Rachel Bay Jones, who won Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her role in Dear Evan Hansen, looked absolutely stunning in a Christian Siriano turquoise ball gown.

Bette Midler may have broken the acceptance speech rules last night, but she was perfectly on-key with this shimmering Michael Kors ensemble.

Also wearing Christian Siriano, Sally Field, who starred in a revival of The Glass Menagerie this year, looked beautiful with this navy off-the-shoulder look.

Michelle Wilson, nominated for her work in Sweat, brought the red to the carpet with this stunning dress from Hakaan.
